I sent off my parent's support of my online application in May-time to student finance along with a separate envelope (sent at the same time!) that held my birth certificate etc with next-day recorded delivery. Me being a fool and bogged down with exams didn't check if it had arrived especially as it was costing me £15 for it all to arrive on time! I got my birth certificate back with confirmation that my application is okay a little after I sent it off.
Therefore I assumed Student Finance has received my parent's paperwork also. However, after a stupidly expensive amount of time on the phone with them today trying to figure out why they keep sending me emails saying my application is awaiting evidence, whilst also saying everything is fine on their website, I find out that they have not received my parent's paperwork at all!
I don't have the receipt for the delivery at all, as over the months its been lost through me thinking it had arrived and not keeping it - and my boyfriend paid for the delivery on his card as I had no money on me at the time and paid him later.
So... who do I shout at at the post office? What do I take with me to say I sent it? And how do I stress that my parent's paperwork has VERY important documents in it and I want it back NOW!
